In association with University of Sheffield Sustainability Committee

Climate change is a humanitarian crisis. It has the biggest impact on people of colour and people from developing countries, whose voices are often overshadowed. It is imperative to reframe the conversation to achieve environmental and social justice. This event brings together a diverse range of leading experts, including Asad Rehman (Executive Director at War on Want) and Judy Ling Wong CBE OBE (Artist, Honorary President and former UK Director of the Black Environment Network) to discuss how climate change is about race and global justice.

This event is part of the 'Our Planet' strand which has kindly been sponsored by Sheffield Climate Alliance and Regather.
